QotD: Via Snail Mail
When did you last write/receive a handwritten, snail-mail letter? Who was it to/from?

the last one i read was from a woman i lived next to 20 or so years ago. it technically wasn't to me, it was to my mother who shared it with me. i think that was back in June. i had heard that her husband had died and passed the info to my mother who sent a card (i'm a slacker, my card for her is still on my desk) and recieved a nice letter back.
i used to get little notes from my grandmother all the time. i miss those. i miss my grandmother.
