What's your most memorable scene from a movie?

by far, the one scene that always gets me is in Return of the King.  it's towards the end when the newly crowned King Ellesar approaches the Hobbits and they bow to him.  He tells them, "My friends, you bow to no one."  Then he, and the rest of the crowd, kneel down before the Hobbits.

What's the best book you read this year?

dayum that's a hard one... i read so many books and unfortunately didn't keep track of them... or did i?  nope, not really.  i read an awful lot of historical fiction this year... tons of Plantagenet stuff.  a couple of those really stand out.  i also just started reading the Harry Potter series.  but i guess the book(s) that stand out the most, the book that ruins it for all others... the book that makes every other series just a copy or crap...
