What are your predictions for the World Series?
errr, one team will win and the other will lose. i so hate baseball.
Do professional athletes make too much money, or do they deserve every penny? Why?
yes and no. they do subject themselves to enormous physical and mental stresses and should be compensated... but do they really need so much?
how big a house does a person really need? do you need to pay someone to do your everyday tasks? there are people in this country living in small houses, driving old cars, working every day and putting away savings ... and they're doing fine. they're living happily.
money can't buy happiness, it can help... but it's not what's important. i think highest paid athletes should drop a zero or two from their paycheck for a year and see how they do. if it's really the game that's important then the money shouldn't matter.
